Back Home!

Had a wonderful vacation visiting friends and family in Cincinnati. Missed the boys while we were gone though. We are going to try and visit again in August. Hope that it works out. Now, back to the real world and day to day happenings. Was glad to back to church on Wednesday night. Missed my church family as well. Hoping to get some crafting done this weekend. It seems like I always make plans for it, but, then, life gets in the way. Hoping you are all welland wishing you a great weekend for yourselvess.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry I haven't posted anything in the last few days. Had company visiting and I am working on getting a baby gift finished. Once I get finished with that, I will post pictures and hopefully, get on with some papercrafting. Hope this finds you all well and enjoying life to the fullest. May God bless you all in this journey, we call, life.

Thank God for his unending faith and love for me.

Heard a great word at church this morning. Many of us know that God has placed a call to ministry of one type or another on us but we have failed to step out in that and just do it. Maybe it is because we are fighting a spiritual war within ourselves. We need to win the battle within ourselves first before moving on.The next hurdle may be dealing with the confinement of all the others around us or the expectation of others on us. The only one we need to please is God himself and not worry about what others expectations of us are. If God finds us ready for whatever ministry we are called to, he will open the door for us. Once we are in the place to go forth with that ministry, do not back away in astonishment or disbelief.

I don't know if I conveyed what this means so that you can understand it, but it spoke directly to my heart for the Faithbooking ministry we have started at church. At the beginning, I wanted to start each meeting with a short Bible Study or devotional, but, because of the light response and my own fears I have not done that yet. I was asked by one of my blog followers if we were doing this and then, that was the message we heard today. To me, that is a direct word from God that I need to step out of my comfort zone and get on with it. Thank you, Lord, for not letting me become stagnant or complacent and pushing me to become the woman of God you want me to be.

My Faith Journey

This is the first Faithbooking Page that our new Scrapping and Stamping group at church made on Tuesday night. We meet on the last Tuesday of every month from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. We are located in Denver, North Carolina, so, if you are in the area and would like to join us next month, just let me know and I will get directions for you.
