I miss you!

I would like to share this card with you today. I made this card for my granddaughter to let her know how very much I miss her.  She is growing up so fast and I wish I could spend more time with her, however, we live about 2000 miles away from each other.  They were just here in April to visit for about 10 days and we had a great time together.  Can't wait until next time.

Smooth Sailing

Good afternoon everyone.  Hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend. I have been in my craft room all day.  Tidying up and after I finished that, I decided to check out what the new challenge is for this week at Heart2Heart Challenge Blog.http://heart2heartchallenges.blogspot.com/. The challenge for this week is : So Very Nauti (Cool).  I thought; "Perfect"  I have a SIL who is going on  her very first cruise with us in January and I could give her this card before we set sail.  Of course, I immediately thought of the CTMH Tommy Paper pack for this one.One reason I love Close To My Heart is because they make everything so easy to put together.  You know if you buy the paper pack and add-ons that go along with it, everything will match perfectly.  I simply cut the paper I wanted to use to size, placed it on the card and the complements.  How much easier can it get? Hope you like it.

Consultant position given up!

It saddens me to say, but, once again, I have had to relinquish my position as a consultant for Close to My Heart Scrapbooking and Stamping supplies. I still love their product and hope to continue buying from another consultant. Because of this fact, I am going to be doing a revamp on my blog because I need to remove some items and pages and just try to clean it up a little. Please bear with me as This will be an ongoing process for awhile. I am going to try and make this blog a priority and be more faithful in posting. Thank you to all who have visited and are followers. Please check back and see the progress of my blog overhaul. I look forward to hearing from you all. Let me know what you think about how it is going and if you have any tips for me. Thanks again, Valerie

Mother's Day 2014

This is the money tree I and my grandsons made for my daughter for Mother's day this year.  Bills were folded into flowers and placed on branches from our yard and placed in a vase with glass beads for filler.  Also made flowers from various pieces of scrap paper.  Card was made from CTMH paper pack Amore from a few years ago.
